Production of finished steel increased to 2686 thousand tonnes in 2009-10 from 1994
thousand tonnes in 2007-08
Production of semi finished steel increased to 3099 thousand tonnes in 2009-10 from
1759 thousand tonnes in 2007-08
In the year 2008-09 production of Crude steel - 4124 thousand tonnes Pig Iron –
909 thousand tonnes Sponge Iron – 1490 thousand tonnes
