Export of engineering goods accounts for 27.07% to India’s total exports and is the Largest foreign exchange earner.

Indian engineering exports jumped by a huge 72.6% from Rs. 181571.7 crore in 2009-10 to Rs. 313398.4 crore in 2010-11.
